關於新架 MAILD 無法收到信件

如標題
可外寄但無法收信
Maild 的視窗也未出現任何 connect 字樣
我用 win 2k iis5
內建有 smtp, 不過我關了
請問大概是蛇麼樣的問題影響的呢?

然後我在 hinet 發信, 就沒東西了
我的網域是 srv.908.com.tw

不會架dns 設 mx 沒關係,
那就找外面的來用..
以下是我寫在英文討論區的教學,
請先看一下.

Most people are not familiar with DNS Server, so they don't know how to configure the domain which they just registered.
If the provider can let you configure a MX Record, that is the best, you just add MX record in the provider system, or you have 2 other ways to achieve the goal:
a. If you know how to host a DNS Server for your own domain, that is a good start, just install a DNS Server, and give your DNS Server to be name server.
b. If you don't know to do it, you can use internet free dns hosting service instead.

I will take http://www.xname.org for example to demostrate how to host a domain mydemo.com by free dns hosting service.

STEPS:
1. go to register a domain
2. some provider system didn't allow you to setup MX Record , it only give you 2 modes to choose: Address record mode / DNS mode.

Address record mode: It only lets you to add A Record (like www.yourdomain.com), if you want MX Record, it can't add.
DNS mode: you need a DNS Server to host your domain and give provider system the A Record of DNS Server to point to.

Therefore, you choose DNS mode and input the xname.org's dns server for name server value.

ns0.xname.org IP address 195.20.105.149
ns1.xname.org IP address 193.23.158.13

(After you modified, the setings may take effect after 24 hours.)

3. go to http://www.xname.org
4. register an account and log in
5. Create a zone (domain in this example : mydemo.com).
6. modify it
7. in "Mail Exchanger (MX) records", you input
10 mydemo.com.
8. in "Address (A) records", you input
mydemo.com. (IP ADDRESS of your SERVER)
9. click [Generate zone configuration] button in the bottom.
10. if data is correct, you can see result without warning.
11. just wait for few minutes or hours, click "View zone" to check the status.
12. If status is ok and the settings in provider system also already take effect , that means the domain should be workable. You can query domain info via nslookup command in dos prompt or via http://www.dnsreport.com

大部分的人並不熟悉dns server，所以他們不懂得如何設定所註冊的domain。
如果註冊domain的廠商有提供你設定mx紀錄的功能、當然是最好的，你只要在廠商提供的系統中加入mz紀錄即可。
或者你有其他2個方式可以達到目的
a、如果你知道怎麼把dns server指向你的domain、那是一個好的開始，只需要安裝dns server並使你的dns server成為name server
b、如果你不知道怎麼做，你可以使用網路上免費的dns指向服務來替代
我將以http://www.xname.org為例子來示範如何使用免費的dns指向服務去指向一個domain[mydemo.com]
步驟：
1、註冊一個域名
2、部份廠商沒有提供設定mx紀錄的功能、只有兩種模式給你選擇：Address record mode / DNS mode
Address record mode：只讓你增加A紀錄(like www.yourdomain.com)、而無法增加mx紀錄
DNS mode：你需要一個dns server來指向你的網域並給廠商系統能指向dns server的A紀錄
因此你選擇DNS mode並輸入name server的IP
ns0.xname.org IP address 195.20.105.149
ns1.xname.org IP address 193.23.158.13
(變更設定之後，24小時候才生效)
(抓住時間點可以縮短時間，如TWNIC是17:00變更)
3、到http://www.xname.org
4、註冊帳號並登入
5、建立一個zone(此例子的donmain：mydemo.com)
6、點modify
7、在"Mail Exchanger (MX) records"輸入10 mydemo.com
8、在"Address (A) records"輸入伺服器的IP
9、點下方[Generate zone configuration]按鈕
10、如果資料正確、你可以看到沒有錯誤的結果
11、等個幾分鐘或小時、點"View zone"來確認狀態
12、如果狀態ok，廠商系統也已經變更，domain應該就可以正常作業了，你可以透過dos命令模式下的nslookup指令來查詢dns資訊或是透過http://www.dnsreport.com
