CHECK !! : User's personal homepage

RaidenHTTPD enables you to setup a web server for multiple users to host their own web sites easily. With this User's personal homepage feature, it's easy to integrate RaidenHTTPD with the multi-user environment under Windows 2000/XP/2003. Each Windows user can have his/her own web site with no additional setup.

For example, you have 2 users on your Windows, and they can have their own URLs like the followinghttp://www.yourhost.com/~user1/ and http://www.yourhost.com/~user2/

Basic requirements: RaidenHTTPD 1.1.49+

How to setup:

Open RaidenAdmin program->Configuration..->Click on Virtual options tab-> Select any virtual host. Right-mouse-click on the virtual host, ->Click Setup User's homepage folder

Now you see that there are 2 fields that you need to fill in. However, they are usually the default values of your Windows2000/XP/2003 setup. Note that this feature is not compatible with Windows98.

Click OK and you will be back to the virutal host tab. Now, you can see that the user's personal homepage setting has been added.

How to test:

Each of the Windows users should have his/her own root directory under C:\documents and settings\. Under his/her respective directory, there should be a my documents folder. Just create a my website folder under C:\documents and settings\username\my documents and it's done, Now the user can place his or her homepage files under C:\documents and settings\[USERNAME]\my documents\my website. When this is done, the user can access his/her web site via the URL http://yourhostname/~username/
